玻利維亞奧魯羅省

2009年3月，玻利維亞奧魯羅省擁有世界上最大的鹽平原，位于海拔3650米的安第斯山區。這里據估計有100億噸鹽，每年開發約25000噸。此外，這里還有儲量豐富的鋰資源。但由于惡劣的環境和生活設施的缺乏，這里是玻利維亞最貧窮的地方之一。

Bolivia (Oruro department), March 2009 - Salar de Tunupa, the world's largest salt flat, locates near the crest of the Andes in Oruro Department at 3,650 meters above sea level. The flat is estimated to contain 10 billion tons of salt, of which less than 25,000 tons is extracted annually. All miners working in the Salar belong to Colchani's cooperative. Here lies more than half the world's reserves of Lithium.
